KOCHI: An outstanding array of aesthetic and functional products and unique services will be on display at the Rotary-New Indian Express Family Shopping Expo 2011 and Inter-nursery Kids Contest to be held at Rama Varma Club on October 15 and 16.  Organised by the Rotary Club of Cochin Downtown in association with the The New Indian Express, the expo will showcase 30 stalls.  Dedicated to family, the expo will cater to  the needs of one and all with a wide range of articles and services. Rare pieces that are sure to catch the attention of men, women and children will adorn most stalls.Don’t miss the stunning consumer goods, elegant watches and clocks, classic bags and  travel goods, trendy cellphones and accessories, automative vehicles, fitness  equipment, IT products and furniture that can add a magic touch to any home.  Specially crafted jewellery, cosmetics, fancy  ornaments, personal hygiene products, home appliances, footwear, branded garments, textiles and readymade outfits are the other  attractions.Beauty parlours, hospitals, banks, insurance companies, financial institutions, counselling centres, educational institutions, allopathic OTC products, ayurveda products, dental clinics, eye hospitals, health drinks, maternity products, hotels and resorts, and tourism centres are the other highlights of the event.  There is a wide choice for children _ garments, toys, baby clothes, kids products, baby food and nutrition products and other food items. Entertaining and illuminating books and CDs will also be displayed.  The event will provide an opportunity for children to showcase their skills and talents. At least 3,000 kids aged below six years from more than 100 nursery schools accompanied by their parents are expected to take part in the two-day mega kids contest organised especially for them. The contests will be held in eight categories on two stages.  Rotarians, from over 30 clubs, invitees from  service organisations Rama Varma Club, Lotus Club, Women’s Club, Rajeev Gandhi Indoor Stadium, Chamber of Commerce, Merchants Union, Confederation of Indian Industry, Kerala Management Association, TIE and heads of institutions of public and private sector undertakings, banks and local public are expected to participate.The expo is an ideal venue for meeting people and interacting with them in an ambience that spells nothing but class. The Family Shopping Expo and Inter-nursery Kids Contest is the also the right location for launches.    The event is being managed by Indian Trade Fair Foundation.
