Two thieves arrested, several stolen gadgets seized

Two alleged thieves were on Friday arrested from the Siyani Gate area of the Ghaziabad and several stolen mobile phones and other gadgets were seized from them, police said.

Ashwani, a resident of Siyani Gate area, and Aneesh, a resident of Bombay Colony of the district, were arrested on Thursday night when they were planning to execute crime in the Siyani Gate area, they said.

Three stolen laptops, a tablet and five mobile phones were seized from them. They were active in Noida and Ghaziabad.

The accused have confessed to their involvement in a number of thefts, said police, adding that they are now being interrogated about their accomplices.
