Truck mows down 4-yr-old child, mob torch vehicle

A four-year-old girl was crushed to death by a speeding truck in Indore, triggering protest by the locals, who set afire the vehicle.

The child, Kajal Malaviya, was playing outside her house in the Tejajinagar area when the truck coming from the bypass road knocked her down, police said.

Agitated over the incident, the residents torched the truck after beating up its driver Santosh (30), police said.

Police arrested the driver after rescuing him from the angry crowd.
