New Delhi: As the 'missing' Southern actress Anjali makes an appearance before the police on April 13, we take a look at the series of events that happened earlier.
April 8: Southern actress Anjali accuses her step-mother Bharathi Devi and Tamil director Kalanjiyam of harassment. She also alleges that the two have used her like an ATM.
April 8: Bharathi Devi rubbishes the allegations in front of the media and director Kalanjiyam makes a statement that he is ready to appear before the court if Anjali proves her allegations.
April 8: The actress moves out of Chennai and goes to Hyderabad but her whereabouts were not revealed.
April 9: Director Kalanjiyam files a defamation case against Anjali.
April 10: Anjali's brother Ravi Shankar files a missing person's case with the Jubliee hills police station. He complains that the actress is missing from her Hyderabad hotel room and her mobile phone is switched off.
April 10: The actress remains untraced. The police claim that the investigation is on and Anjali will be traced soon.
April 11: The police is still on a look-out for Anjali. The actress hasn't contacted her family yet.
April 12: Anjali makes a dramatic appearance in front of the police. Deputy Commissioner (West zone) of police G Sudheer Babu clears that the actress said in a statement to the police that she was stressed due to her busy shooting schedule and went to Mumbai for a break.
April 12: The Deputy Commissioner of police says that based on the actor's statement a final report will be submitted before the court.
