Thiruvananthapuram: Two days after it was closed down by food safety officials, an outlet of bakery chain Ambrosia in the city re-opened on Tuesday. The Bakery Junction outlet has been allowed to operate as it had a different licence, Food Safety Commissioner Biju Prabhakar said.
Food safety officials had raided and closed down the outlets and the baking unit of Ambrosia after a customer found a dead cockroach in a choco muffin.
The baking unit and the Pattom outlet of the chain are still closed. ‘’We had served an improvement notice on the baking unit,’’ he said.
