The neighbours of the six suspected terrorists, who were arrested by the police here on Wednesday, did not have any clue about their “activities” till their arrest.
They were, in fact, shocked to know that those living in the first floor of a building at Mubarak Mohalla in Munireddy Palya were arrested for anti-national activities.
The neighbours had no idea about their profession and background.
The owner of a departmental store near the arrested persons’ house told, on condition of anonymity, that all the six used to leave home in the morning and return only in the night.
“They were not mingling with neighbours, and we had a good impression about them.
When the police came in three vehicles and took them away, we thought they might have committed some crime.
Only after watching the news on TV, we got to know that they were arrested on terror charges and we were shocked,” he said.
Musthafa, who resides in the same lane, also said he did not know much about them.
“They have been staying here for more than a year, but I don’t know any details about them.
The only thing I can say is they always went out together.
”
