Inspired by the green movement and in a bid to raise awareness on the concept of green art and eco-friendliness, local dealers of GoodLife packaged milk built a five-and-half feet tall Ganesh idol for the festival with empty tetra packs at Krishna Nagar, Jubilee Hills. Using the help of Tunga Vamsi Krishna, a visiting faculty member of Jawaharlal Nehru Architecture & Fine Arts University and Sukumar Reddy, a freelance artist, the dealers made the idol using up to 2000 empty GoodLife milk packs.
