TERI chief Pachauri moves court seeking permission to travel abroad
Pachuari claimed that he had confirmed his attendance at the event in May 2014 and skipping the event will harm his professional reputation.

New Delhi: The Energy and Resources Institute chief RK Pachauri has moved court seeking permission to travel abroad. He has sought permission to attend a The Global Water Summit in Greece from April 26 to 29.

Pachuari, who is out on bail, claimed that he had confirmed his attendance at the event in May 2014 and skipping the event will harm his professional reputation.

The court will hear his plea on Friday.

He has been accused of sexual harassment by a woman employee of TERI.

He stepped down as IPCC chief after being accused of sexual harassment but he continues to hold the post of TERI.
