Karimnagar district is renowned as a birthplace of arts. Many artists from here have achieved great success. Among them is a child artist named Aadya from Karimnagar, earning much praise for her performances both on the silver screen and on television. Studying in the sixth grade, Aadya has had a passion for acting since she was young. She participated in the Drama Juniors-6 auditions held in Karimnagar and impressed everyone not only with her acting but also with her dialogues. It led to her securing continuous opportunities on television.
In a chat with Local 18, Aadya shared her experiences. She said her father works in a private job and her mother is a homemaker.. With the support of her parents, she has been recognised as an artist. Aadya is thriving as a child artist in TV shows like Radha Kalyanam, Gundamma Katha, and Vantalakka. In Drama Junior 6, she performed a scene where she portrayed the daughter of an alcoholic father, impressing everyone with her dialogue delivery. She said, “A girl tells her mother everything, but matters like this are told to the father. Father means security, trust, and support. When those boys teased me, I wished you were there to protect me, but you were not, father.” This performance earned her the Best Champion award along with a cash prize of Rs 10,000.
Since then, Aadya has not looked back and has gained recognition as a child star. Currently, she has acted in two films that are soon to be released. Besides acting, she is also adept at singing and reciting slokas, showcasing her multi-talented nature. Aadya aspires to become a doctor and an actor when she grows up. Let’s hope Aadya gains recognition as a great actress in the future and brings pride to Telangana on a global scale.
