Teachers Day celebrated

KOCHI: The Teachers Day celebrations of Fact Township High School was inaugurated by poet N K Desham. The school honoured former teachers on the occasion. M K Keshavan, K N Sarath, E K Suresh and N B Soman felicitated the former teachers of the school. PTA members and alumni also took part in the celebrations.Former teachers and alumni present at the programme included litterateurs K U Menon, Thazhathadam Raghavan Nair, K R Madhavankutty, social workers D Gopinathan Nair and M Radhakrishnan Nair. K Sharada, school headmistress, presided over the function. Sunil P Ilayidam delivered the keynote speech. Mary Thomas, executive director, Toc H School, welcomed the gathering.
