Jayalalithaa announced that the government cable TV corporation had decided to provide internet broad band services also through the local cable network.
Madurai: The Tamil Nadu government cable TV corporation would hold talks with cable TV operators and Theni on September 29 over the government's scheme to provide broadband and internet services through local cable TV operators' network.
An official release said the cable TV corporation is to join hands with Indian Railnet organisation to provide high speed broad band service at a cheap rate.
It may be recalled that Chief Minister Jayalalithaa had announced in the assembly on August 11 2014 about the government cable TV corporation's decision to provide internet broad band services also through the local cable TV network.
