BANGALORE: A 23-year-old youth who had fake ID cards and was moving around suspiciously at the Bangalore International Airport premises was arrested on Saturday. The accused has been identified as Tangola Nageshwara Rao, a native of Dumbriguda in Visakhapatnam in Andhra Pradesh.Police said that Rao was strolling at the arrival terminal of the airport and was behaving suspiciously. The Central Industrial Security Force personnel questioned him. On not providing genuine credentials, he was handed over to the International Airport police.“He was in possession of a fake identity card of a pilot of Kingfisher Airlines.The card was fake, whicl looked like it was issued from Rajiv Gandhi International Airport, Hyderabad. Also, he had rubber stamps.He was produced before a judge and taken into police custody for further investigation till February 5. He has revealed that a Hyderabad-based man had issued him the fake ID card.,” the police explained. “He speaks Telugu and Oriya. He claims that he had come to the city in search of a job. But we are not convinced about his actual motive,” the police added.
