Supervisor murder: Accused in Assam, probe intensified

The Mahadevapura police have intensified the probe into the murder case of Davakar Mogh, 30, a security supervisor, who was allegedly killed by his colleagues, Amaresh Burman and Kamakya Burman, on Saturday night. The police have gathered information that the accused, after committing the murder, have fled to their native places in Assam.

“A police team would be sent to Assam and their parents would be questioned about whereabouts of the two accused. They will be arrested soon,” the police said.

The police are also awaiting the arrival of Devakar Mogh’s parents from Tripura to conduct the post-mortem.

“They will reach the city in the next two days. After they arrive, an autopsy will be conducted and the body will be handed over to them,” the police added.

Meanwhile, the officials of G4S Secure Solutions (India) Pvt Ltd. clarified that both the victim and the accused were not their employees. “G4S has no connection with the incident,” they said.
