Stray dogs attack girl

BANGALORE: A four and a half year old girl, Renuka, was attacked and bitten by stray dogs in Bilekahalli on Wednesday. The girl suffered injuries on her right ankle and right thigh.
Renuka is the daughter of Janardhan, a construction worker from Gulbarga. After the attack, she was taken to Apollo Hospital and was admitted as an outpatient. The Bruhat Bangalore Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) officials said that the expenses for her treatment were met by the Chairman of the Market Committee, BBMP. They also clarified that she has been taken home and not suffered serious injuries.
