Nikhil Dwivedi's marriage reception was held at a rooftop lounge bar on Linking Road on Monday. The actor tied the knot with Gaurie Pandit on March 7. While Nikhil preferred to wear a waistcoat, his bride kept it simple in a black dress. Among the first to arrive were Arbaaz Khan and Farah Khan (we overheard her telling Gaurie that she was under-dressed for the occasion).
Shirish Kunder walked in later and stayed till late while Salman Khan dropped by, post-midnight. PS: Everyone expected Shah Rukh Khan to come considering his closeness to Nikhil. But he preferred to skip the occasion. Blame it on Sallu being invited for the reception?
Long time, no see
Hrithik Roshan and Sonali Kulkarni met each other after years at the recently held Star Parivaar Awards 2011 at Macau. On seeing her, Duggu instantly got up from his seat to greet his on-screen mom (Mission Kashmir) with a warm hug and both were seen chatting for a while!
For a cause
Kapil Dev's organisation Khushi works for the upliftment of the destitute. Along with Karan Johar and Varun Bahl, the NGO held a charity event in New Delhi to support AIDS awareness at the Canadian High Commissioner’s residence. Farah Khan, Sushmita Sen, Isha Sharvani walked the ramp.
Cameo time
Vidya Balan will be seen in not one but two cameo appearances. She has managed to keep her roles in Anees Bazmee's Thank You and Rohan Sippy's Dum Maaro Dum under wraps. Sources reveal that in Thank You, she plays Akshay Kumar's wife while in DMD, she's Abhishek's better half! Some spoiler alert!
