Srilakshmi gets copy of chargesheet

HYDERABAD: Suspended IAS officer Y Srilakshmi, an accused in the case of illegal mining by Obulapuram Mining Company, was handed over a copy of the chargesheet on Thursday days after taking the supplementary charge sheet filed by the CBI into cognizance by the court.This development will pave the way for beginning trial in the case.Lakshmi, who is lodged in the central prison at Chanchalguda was produced before the principal special judge for CBI cases and was handed over a copy of the chargesheet.She was remanded till June 4.The other accused , OMC MD BV Sreenivas Reddy and former director of mines VD Rajagopal, were also remanded till June 4.
