BJP's Prime Ministerial candidate Narendra Modi on Monday wished UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi on her birthday and prayed for her healthy life.
"Wishing UPA chairperson Sonia Gandhi on her birthday. I pray for her long and healthy life," Modi tweeted on micro-blogging site Twitter. Congress President Sonia Gandhi turned 67 on Monday, but there were no celebrations in view of the demise of former South African president Nelson Mandela.
The country is observing a five-day state mourning since Friday last as a mark of respect to the late South African leader.
