SK Prabakar, appointed new IT secretary

CHENNAI: S K Prabakar, Officer on Special Duty (Relief and Rehabilitation), Revenue Administration Department, will be the new secretary at the Information Technology Department. The State issued orders to this effect on Saturday.Others who have been transferred on Saturday are:  K Sellamuthu, former Commissioner of Horticulture and Plantation Crops who will assume charge as MD of TNHB. Apurva Varma, MD, TN Text Book Corporation Limited will be taking over as the MD of CMWS&SB. G Santhanam, secretary will assume charge as the secretary, Handlooms Department. Thanga Kaliyaperumal, Commissioner of Agricultural Marketing and Agricultural Business, has been appointed as the Secretary, BCs, MBCs and Minorities Welfare Department.
