Sibal to meet Internet firms on content screening

New Delhi: Union Telecom Minister Kapil Sibal is likely to meet Internet giants like Google and Facebook in Delhi over the ongoing controversy on screening the Internet content.

Sibal will meet the Internet giants to formulate content guidelines for social networking websites. He has been meeting top Internet companies over the past six months to regulate online content, but has not received a positive response yet.

His comment on screening content has already sparked outrage across the online community.

Meanwhile, YouTube is out with a new initiative. It has launched YouTube for schools which will have no access to videos other than those related to education.
