Srinagar: A minor girl was allegedly raped by a school guard in the Greater Kailash area of Kashmir, falling under the jurisdiction of Gangyal police station. According to police sources, an 8-year-old girl hailing from Bihar, presently residing in Greater Kailash was playing outside her house, when she was allegedly kidnapped by a security guard of Little Flower School, Greater Kailash Sansar Chand of Langer, Kunjwani.
He took her to a secluded place and raped her. The accused threatened the girl of dire consequences, if she revealed the incident to anyone. The victim after reaching home narrated the incident to her family members, who lodged a complaint with police station in Gangyal.
The police have arrested the accused. The girl was restored to family members after conducting medical examination.
A case under Section 363 and 376 RPC has been registered against the accused at Gangyal police station and investigation has started.
