New Delhi: While Google is more known for its doodles and Easter Eggs, its subsidiary YouTube is also an eager follower of the tradition.
The latest viral video fever to spread via YouTube is 'Harlem Shake' and it has generated hundreds of millions of views across thousands of videos of the Internet meme. Participating in the immensely popular meme, YouTube also does a Harlem Shake version of its own.
Searching for 'do the harlem shake' on YouTube gets the various elements of the YouTube to move and shake to the beat of a short excerpt from Baauer's song Harlem Shake.
A tweet on the official YouTube Twitter account said, "Hey @google, barrel rolls are cool, but when we do the Harlem Shake, that's just crazy."
The YouTube Harlem Shake Easter egg is inspired by Google's 'do a barrel roll' causes the search results page to spin.
In case you don't want you page to be Harlem Shaking then YouTube has put a pause button next to its logo that pulls the page out of its frenzy.
