Lawrence Bishnoi gang took responsibility for the firing outside actor Salman Khan’s House in Mumbai on Sunday, top Mumbai Police sources reported and claimed that gangster Rohit Godara, who operates Bishnoi’s gang in Rajasthan, attacked Bollywood’s Bhaijaan’s residence to issue a warning for his alleged connection with the Dawood Ibrahim and Chota Shakeel.
Godara’s name surfaced after gangster Lawrence Bishnoi‘s brother Anmol Bishnoi allegedly took responsibility of the attack in a Facebook post and signed off the post crediting Lawrence Bishnoi gang, Goldy Brar, Rohit Godara and Kala Jathari.
Concerns were raised over security of actor Salman Khan after two unidentified bike-borne men fired four rounds of bullets outside Khan’s residence – Galaxy Apartments – in Mumbai’s Bandra in the early hours of Sunday at around 4:50 am. Thankfully, nobody was injured in the incident.
As per the sources, it has been learnt that the shooters who opened fire outside Salman Khan’s residence may have connections to Haryana and Rajasthan. It was, therefore, speculated that the attack was organised by Rajasthan’s notorious gangster Rohit Godara, who is linked to the Lawrence Bishnoi gang.
Who is Rohit Godara?
This is not the first time that gangster Rohit Godara’s name has been in the public light. Godara, a close associate of jailed gangster Lawrence Bishnoi, is suspected to be handling all the operations of the Bishnoi gang from the UK.
A few months back, Godara attacked headlines after he claimed responsibility for the on-camera murder of Rashtriya Rajput Karni Sena chief Sukhdev Singh Gogamedi in Jaipur, Rajasthan. The incident was caught on a CCTV camera in which two men can be seen firing at the Karni Sena chief.
“I am Rohit Godara Kapursari, brother of Goldie Brar. Today we take full responsibility for the murder of Sukhdev Gogamedi. He (Mr Gogamedi) used to back our enemies,” Gangster Rohit Godara took responsibility for the murder a few minutes after the incident through Facebook in December 2023.
According to a report published in Hindustan Times, Godara is a resident of Bikaner’s Lunakaran and is believed to be currently residing in Canada. Several media reports suggest that he carries out criminal activities at the behest of Lawrence Bishnoi.
Godara has more than 32 criminal cases registered against him at various police stations across the country.
Notably, Godara is one of the accused in the murder of singer-politician Sidhu Moose Wala who was shot dead in Punjab’s Mansa district on May 29, 2022.
