BANGALORE: A rowdy-sheeter committed suicide by hanging at his residence in Hanumanthanagar police station limits on Sunday morning.Sreenivas (41), a resident of 9th Main road of Srinagar was a close associate of rowdy Jedarahalli Krishna (JK) and was in the wanted list of the police.Sreenivas committed suicide at his residence when his wife and children went to a temple in the morning.Police said that he might have ended his life because he was in huge debt and was not in a position to pay the money back .He was also into real estate business and had suffered huge losses, police said.Police found a suicide note in which he had written that he was depressed over his debts and wished his family to have a good life ahead.Police said that he was a rowdy-sheeter with the Hanumanthanagar police station and was involved in 12 criminal cases in Kalasipalya, Jayanagar, Basaweshwaranagar etc.He was involved in the murder case of notorious Layout Manja in the 90’s in Basaweshwaranagar , police said.Hanumanthanagar police are investigating the case.
