Rising Number of Swine Flu Cases has Citizens Worried
The rising number of swine flu cases in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh has citizens worried. In 2017 alone, 15 people have reportedly died suffering from swine flu, while more than 464 other cases of swine flu have been reported from Telangana.

Hyderabad: The rising number of swine flu cases in Telangana and Andhra Pradesh has citizens worried. In 2017 alone, 15 people have reportedly died suffering from swine flu, while more than 464 other cases of swine flu have been reported in Telangana.

Hyderabad has been the worst affected city, reporting close to 200 cases in the past two months. Patients with swine flu symptoms from various districts continue flocking the government hospitals in the city. Special wards have been created in governments hospitals to treat patients suffering from swine flu.

Telangana, however, is not the only state afflicted with Swine flu. Neighbouring Andhra Pradesh has been a witness to the death of 11 people, who died due to swine flu.

In the last two months, 93 cases of swine flu have been reported from Andhra Pradesh with 44 cases alone from the Chittoor district.

The doctors have advised people to take precautionary measures like avoiding crowded places, washing hands properly and using sanitizers, covering nose and mouth, while sneezing etc.

Both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh state government say there is no need to panic as health department is taking all the necessary measures.
