Rich history of french schools in UT recalled

PUDUCHERRY: Former Education Minister and Congress MLA K Lakshminarayanan has urged the government to take steps to preserve the unique history of all the French schools in the Union Territory functioning under the Department of School Education.Lakshminarayanan was speaking at a function to mark the formation of a consumer club, at the Pensionat French Girls GHS here on Friday.The students of these schools should be educated about the history and heritage of their schools, he said. This would not only enlighten them but also make them feel proud to study in such a school, Lakshminarayanan  added.
