THIRUVANANTHAPURAM:  Chief Minister Oommen Chandy on Monday will release the progress report of the 100-day programme announced by the UDF Government after assuming power last May.    The  function will be held at VJT Hall in the evening.  A statement issued from the Chief Minister’s office here on Sunday said that out of the 107 programmes listed in the 100 day-programme,  100 programmes have been completed successfully.   The UDF Government which assumed office on May 18 had announced the  100-day programme on June 1.  The screening of a documentary on the 100-day programme produced by PRD and releasing of a booklet on the programmes announced will also be held as part of the function.   According to the government,  the development programmes envisaged to be completed within the first 100 days were based on the plank of transparency.  Among the programmes in the list were dealing strictly with corruption,  fast development,  protection and care of women,  children and economically weaker sections.   The transparency drive included the declaration of details of  wealth and assets of ministers and senior officers on the government website.  For easy access to government orders for the public, all government orders were uploaded on the website on the same day of their issue. A policy aimed at giving foolproof protection to those giving information about corruption on the lines of whistleblower protection policy of Chief Vigilance Commission, was also provided. A special facility will be set up at the Chief Minister’s Office to receive such information.   The 24X7 grievance redressal helpline of the Chief Minister’s office,  workshop conducted for ministers in association with IIM, Kozhikode and  Kerala Vision 2030 - Idea bank were some of  the other programmes.  Special arrangements have been made in the offices of the Chief Minister and ministers for monitoring the programme implementation and evaluation.
