New Delhi: Former Haryana Police director general of police SPS Rathore's lawyer and wife Abha had alleged that Subhash Chandra Girhotra had married second time and the step mother had no moral control over Ashu and Ruchika.
Girhotra denied presence of his second wife even as Abha claimed that he married a woman named Veena.
Abha asked if Ruchika's family can produce documents to substantiate various charges levelled against Rathore.
Abha also pointed out Ruchika was not expelled from school because of pressure from the Rathore; instead her name was struck off the rolls due to non-payment of fees.
She added that the investigation undertaken by Chandigarh administration into the real reason behind Ruchika leaving Sacred Heart Convent School would bring out the truth.
Rathore's anticipatory bail application will come up for hearing at the Chandigarh District and Sessions Court of Justice SP Singh on Friday.
The court had reserved its order on December 30 after the Rathores moved court to seeking anticipatory bail in the Ruchika Girhotra molestation case.
Another police complaint was been files against Rathore by Ruchika's brother Ashu on Thursday. The complaint is related to Ruchika's suicide with Ashu claiming that his sister was forced to kill herself due to harassment and torture by Rathore.
Ashu on Thursday claimed Ruchika committed suicide to save him from being tortured by Rathore and Haryana Police.
Already two more FIRs had been slapped on Rathore earlier in the week.
Even Union Home Minister P Chidambaram said on Thursday that he was unhappy with the way the Ruchika molestation case trial was conducted.
Ruchika's friend Aradhana was the sole eyewitness when Rathore molested on August 12, 1990 and has been relentlessly pursuing the case for the last 19 years.
Ruchika committed suicide December 29, 1993.
