HYDERABAD: Lok Satta Party president Jayaprakash Narayan on Thursday demanded that the UPA government take a decision on the Telangana issue without further delay.``The UPA government has subjected Telugu speaking people to incalculable harm by dithering on the issue for a year and a half.Politicians in Delhi seem to view Andhra Pradesh as a colony of voters. The state has witnessed a setback to its industrialisation and loss of employment opportunities to its youth because of the agitation and prolonged uncertainty,’’ he said.``The UPA government’s decision should serve the interests of people in all the regions of the state without running counter to national interests. It should also be rational and logical, transparent and practicable.’’ Narayan reiterated his party’s demand for deletion of Clause 14 (F) of the Presidential Order of 1975 and recalled that the Assembly had adopted a resolution for deletion of the clause.
