Priyanka Chopra on 'Dil Dhadakne Do': We drove each other crazy just like a real family, but hung out every single night
'Dil Dhadakne Do' stars Anil Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, and Farhan Akhtar, in key roles.

What happens when a dysfunctional family gets together on a cruise around the world? According to actress Priyanka Chopra, it gets real crazy.

In an interview to CNN-IBN entertainment editor Rajeev Masand, Chopra talked about her experience of working with filmmaker Zoya Akhtar in the upcoming movie, 'Dil Dhadakne Do'.

While the industry insiders speculate about the storyline of Akhtar's latest offering, Chopra prefers to talk about the bond she forged with the motley of actors on board the cruise ship, during the filming of 'Dil Dhadakne Do'.

"Just imagine, 25 actors get together on one ship. And let me tell you, they're all crazy," says Chopra jokingly. The film's first shooting schedule began on May 17 this year. The cast and crew filmed on a Cruise Liner Deck 7 throughout Europe, specifically in France, Spain, Tunisia and Italy for over 2.5 months.

'Dil Dhadakne Do' boasts of a strong cast including actors such as Anil Kapoor, Shefali Shah, Ranveer Singh, Anushka Sharma, Rahul Bose, Zarina Wahab, Vikrant Massey, Parmeet Sethi, and Farhan Akhtar, among others.

"The film will make you think about so many questions -- about families, relationships and our strong Indian culture," says Chopra.

Chopra added that 'Dil Dhadakne Do' revolves around a dysfunctional Punjabi family that embarks on a long cruise. "Just imagine, we were with each other for over two and a half months," says Chopra.

"And just like a real family, we drove each other crazy, but ended up hanging out every single night. In fact, after the cruise, when we were finishing up at the Mehboob Studios in Mumbai, many of us would drop by the shoot, even if our scene was not up. Call it withdrawal syndrome. But we did end up knowing each other really well," said Chopra.

The film, which as been described as a 'Wes Anderson-esqe dramady', is set to hit the theatres on June 5, 2015.
