Pottu Suresh named prime accused in crime case

MADURAI: A day after ‘Essar’ Gopi spilled the beans to the police, ‘Pottu’ Suresh was here on Wednesday added as the prime accused in a murder case.On Tuesday, the police had recorded Gopi’s confessions, wherein he had named Suresh as the one who had ordered him to kill Pandiarajan, an auto driver and ‘Attack’ Pandi’s relative.Pandiarajan was reportedly killed in an accident by the then VAO on April 16, 2009. The hit-and-run case which remained undetected for over two years was found to be a murder case after investigations based on intelligence inputs in the case.Suresh reportedly ordered Pandiarajan’s murder, as he had become a potential threat.
