Posco: Reddy bail hearing on January 9

PARADIP: The hearing for the bail petition of CPI leader and anti-Posco frontline leader Narayan Reddy and Congress legislator Jayant Biswal has been deferred to January 9 by the Additional District Sessions Judge of  Jagatsinghpur Sachidananda Sahu on Thursday. The judge deferred it citing non-supply of case diary by police in right time on Thursday. Reddy and Biswal were arrested by Kujang police in connection with December 14 Posco coastal road clash in which one person was killed.  Similarly, the bail plea of anti-Posco leader Abhay Sahu was rejected by the Additional District Sessions Judge. On Wednesday the Junior Magistrate First Class, Kujang, had rejected his plea for bail.
