Plea to cancel bail of BSYs sons dismissed

BANGALORE: The Karnataka High Court on Monday dismissed the criminal petition filed by advocate Sirajin Basha seeking cancellation of bail granted by the Lokayukta Special Court to B S Yeddyurappa’s sons B Y Vijendra and B Y Raghavendra, son-in-law R N Sohan Kumar and MLA Dr Hemachandra Sagar.Basha had submitted that the Lokayukta judge in the bail order had highlighted the close and active involvement of the accused in the offence. However, despite such sound reasoning, he granted bail to the four, he had said.The Lokayukta Special Court had granted bail to the four accused along with others while rejecting bail for Yeddyurappa and S N Krishnaiah Setty on October 15.
