An air pistol was found from the basement of the Penta Menaka tower at Marine Drive here on Friday. The owner of the pistol has not been identified. It was a shop owner who first spotted the gun informed the police.
A case has been registered in this regard. The Forensic experts and dog squad examined the spot and pistol. Central police sub-inspector Ananthalal said that an investigation has been launched to find out whether any crime was committed using the it.
