HAVERI: The District Lokayukta Special Court on Tuesday ordered Davangere Lokayukta SP to make an inquiry on MLA Nehru Olekar and four others for misusing their powers while allotting Haveri Urban Development Authority site leases and posted the hearing to December 20, 2011.Advocate G S Bajaj said, we have filed a private compliant against MLA Nehru Olekar and four others under CR IPC 153(3) section because Olekar violated Karnataka Urban Development Act to get thirty years of land leases of his son and daughter who are managing education societies in Haveri.He said that, “We placed all relevant records and documents pertaining to this case before Judge K C Ramkrishnaiah stating that this court has the power to trail this case.Advocate Bajaj said that District Judge Ordered for an inquiry and posted further hearing on December 20, 2011.Social worker Erappa Lamani filed a petition on Olekar, his son and daughter.
