Noida: Teacher beats up student for carrying fire crackers to school
A class ninth student was allegedly beaten up by a teacher for carrying fire-crackers to school.

Greater Noida: A class ninth student was allegedly beaten up by a teacher for carrying fire-crackers to school, following which his parents and kin assaulted the teacher Friday, police said.

The incident occurred when Pushpinder was caught carrying fire-cracker to school in Jarcha area by his PT teacher, who allegedly beat him up leaving him wounded.

Upon returning home the child narrated the incident to his father Veerpal and other relatives, who gave him first-aid and approached the school principal Renu Vashisht to register a complaint against the accused teacher.

They allegedly roughed up the PT teacher in the school playground, Jarcha police station incharge Satinder Chauhan said, adding that the principal has suspended the teacher and ordered inquiry into the incident.
