HYDERABAD: Telangana Joint Action Committee (TJAC) chairman M Kodandaram has exuded confidence that the Congress-led UPA Government will take immediate measures to resolve the T issue.Speaking to reporters here on Tuesday after returning from Delhi, Kodandaram said the Central Government had realised the gravity of the situation in Telangana following Sakala Janula Samme.A TJAC delegation also met Prime Minister Manmohan Singh on Monday demanding a separate Telangana state and apprised him of the situation in the region. He said there was no need for further consultations on T issue as all the major political parties are in support of creation of a separate Telangana state. He clarified that the TJAC would not support attacks on Seemandhra buses. The attacks on Seemandhra buses by Telangana activists were not intentional, he said.He threatened to further intensify Sakala Janula Samme in a democratic manner if the Centre fails to take a decision on creation of separate Telangana at the earliest.
