TUMKUR: Former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa has said he has not decided on campaigning for BJP candidate Sunil Kumar in the Udupi-Chickmagalur Lok Sabha byelection. Speaking to reporters after calling on centenarian seer of Siddaganga Mutt Sri Shivakumara Swamiji here on Wednesday, he said as the constituency was a BJP bastion and Chief Minister D V Sadananda Gowda himself had represented it, the victory of the BJP candidate was certain. During his visit to the city, his staunch supporters, including ministers V Somanna, C M Udasi and M P Renukacharya, Tumkur MP G S Basavaraju, MLAs B Suresh Gowda and B P Harish accompanied him. However, Tumkur City MLA Sogadu Shivanna continued to distance himself from the BSY camp, as he identified himself with state BJP chief K S Eshwarappa’s group.
