BANGALORE: A newlywed woman died after falling from the third floor of a building at the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) quarters in Yelahanka New Town police station limits.Girijamma (25), a native of Gowribidanur, had married Madhu a CRPF driver and a native of Malur eight months ago. Girijamma was reportedly pregnant when she died. The couple were residing at the CRPF quarters in Yelahanka New Town. Girijimma was found dead outside the CRPF residential block and the police suspect that she might have fallen from the third floor of the building.Her family members, however have accused Madhu of killing his wife, by pushing her down from the building."They have also alleged that Madhu and his mother harassed Girijamma for dowry. It is said that the couple were reportedly seen fighting on Thursday night. We are investigating to know how she fell from the building," the police added.The police are awaiting postmortem report to know the exact reason for the death. Yelahanka New Town police have registered a case and further investigations are on in this connection.
