An earthquake of magnitude 7.9 on the Richter scale in Pokhra, near Kathmandu in Nepal caused a lot of destruction and damage. The aftershocks of the same were felt in India as far as West Bengal, Uttar Pradesh, Jharkhand, Bihar, Rajasthan, Odisha and New Delhi.
The earthquake has caused enormous amounts of damage in Nepal which can be seen in the pictures tweeted by various people below.
