BANGALORE: The High Court on Friday said it will pass orders on Monday on the interim application filed by Dasarahalli MLA Muniraju seeking to stay the Lokayukta proceedings against him.The complainant before the Lokayukta court, Puttaswamy, had alleged that Muniraju and two other public servants - Ranganath, then tahsildar of Bangalore North taluk who is now posted in Ramanagaram, and Suresh, Revenue Inspector - had committed offences punishable under the Prevention of Corruption Act and the IPC. The court had directed the Lokayukta police to investigate the matter.Following the complaint that Muniraju had “grabbed” 1.15 acres of land owned by his mother-in-law Mallamma in Yeshwantpur hobli by fabricating documents in collusion with a few others, the investigation authorities registered an FIR.
