KOCHI: The All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has accorded sanction to KMEA Engineering College, Edathala, to start M Tech course in Civil Engineering with specialisation in Computer-aided Structural Engineering from the academic year 2012-13.The college has got the approval to increase the number of seats of MTech Communication Engineering to 30 and that of BTech CivilEngineering to 120.According to the new policy of the government, admission to 50 per cent seats in MTech courses in self financing engineering colleges will be made from the list prepared by the Director of Technical Education (DTE) from those who apply online through http://www.dtekerala.gov.in/mtech2012/main/frame.html.
