The original (first-gen) Moto G has a 4.5-inch HD (1280x720)display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU.

New Delhi: After cutting down the price of the first-generation Moto X, Motorola has now slashed the price of the original Moto G (16GB) by Rs 4,000. The first-generation Moto G (16GB) that was launched early this year at a price of Rs 13,999, is now available on online retailer Flipkart.com for Rs 9,999. The company has also brought the price of the 8GB variant down from Rs 12,499 to Rs 8,999, but it is currently listed "out of stock" on the e-commerce site.

The original (first-gen) Moto G has a 4.5-inch HD (1280x720)display and is powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 400 processor with 1.2 GHz quad-core CPU. It has a 5 megapixel rear camera and a 1.3 megapixel front camera.

Motorola recently also slashed the price of the first-generation Moto X by Rs 6,000, bringing its price down to Rs 17,999.

The successor to the first-generation Moto G was launched last month with a bigger screen and improved features at Rs 1000 cheaper than the original Moto G.
