More CDs from Isha

CHENNAI: It was more than the mere event of launching new CDs from Isha Foundation at the Chinmaya Heritage Centre on Saturday. It was rather a function of Isha family, as everybody present there, including the chief guests, were in some way or the other connected to Isha. Gopal, MD, Isha Life, said it was probably the first event where songs from the CDs to be released would be played on stage. Totally, four new Tamil CDs – one on Dhyanalinga, two on Linga Bhairavi and an audio form of the book Gnaniyin Sannidhiyil. And as is the tradition of Isha, everybody recounted their involvement with Isha and its experience.The audio CD titled Linga Bhairavi, which has songs on goddess Linga Bhairavi, sung by popular vocalist Sudha Raghunathan, was launched by Latha Krishnaswamy, CEO, Krishna TV. Sudha Ragunathan was also present at the event and recalled how it was memorable when she sang the song, Shanthi Nilava Vendum, during the consecration of Linga Bhairavi at the Isha Yoga Centre in Coimbatore. “I’m twice-blessed as I had an opportunity to be part of the consecrations of both Dhyanalinga and Linga Bhairavi,” she said. Two other CDs, Dhyanalinga – Guru Thandha Guru by Deepan Chakravarthy, and Bhairavi Vandhaal Bhairavi Vandhaal were also released.
