Missing Panchayat member returns

KALLAMBALAM: Sreela, 42, a District Panchayat member, who was reported missing from December 29,  2011, appeared before the police on Wednesday. It was with her lover, Sureshbabu, 36, hailing from Malappuram that Sreela arrived.  A complaint on Sreela’s missing was registered by her husband Shaji of Poykavila Veetil, Perettil. Sreela is the District Panchayat member from Manambur Division who had contested the election as a CPM candidate. The party had expelled her soon after she was reported missing. She disappeared after writing a letter to her  husband asking him not to enquire about her.  Earlier also Sreela had gone with Sureshbabu and had returned after a few days. Both of them were presented before the court.
