An 18-year-old girl was allegedly abducted and gang raped by two youths in Chanda area here, police said on July 13.
The incident took place last night when the girl had ventured out of home for some work when the two accused-- Rinku Pal and Pankaj Kumar abducted her and gang raped her in a near by field, Station House Officer Jitendra Giri said.
The girl was spotted in the field by a passerby this morning after which her family members informed the police
about the incident.
A case has been lodged against the two accused and efforts were being made to nab them, Giri added.
