HYDERABAD: Mayor Mohd Majid Hussain on Monday directed the Standing Committe members to place before him their consensus report on the controversial construction activities currently underway at the Shaikpet naala which had been inspected by the members last week.The mayor said that only based on the consensus report could he ask for a detailed report from the Commissioner, GHMC to initiate further action. The mayor also directed the zonal commissioners and the deputy commissioners to inspect sanitation works every day and expect surprise inspection in the morning in any of the circles. When asked about the job melas proposed, he said that in order to make the first job mela proposed in the South Zone a great success, more companies were being invited to take part and the date of the job mela would be announced soon.
