Man rapes minor girl in Pathak Bigaha village

A minor girl was raped by a man in a village under Karpi Police Station area in Bihar's Arwal district, the police said on Saturday.

The incident took place in Pathak Bigaha village on Friday night as the accused man Tipu Alam entered the house of a minor girl and raped her, they said. Upon hearing cries of the girl, the villagers overpowered Alam and beat him mercilessly before handing over to the police, they said.

Both the victim and the accused have been hospitalised, the sources said.
