BANGALORE: Governor H R Bhardwaj called upon people to love, respect and serve everyone as their own brother or sister.Speaking at the valedictory function of the golden jubilee celebration of Caritas India, Bhardwaj appreciated the service rendered by the organisation, especially their work for the protection of weaker sections and minorities in the society. The Governor said, “All of us trust the Constitution of India, the greatest document and are bound by it. Having the feature of a secular India, the Constitution invites all to love, respect and serve as brothers and sisters.”He observed, “Strengthen the inner community of India and put an end to sectarianism and partisan thinking. Give up violence and hatred and dedicate a part of the income to charitable works.” The Governor released the report of the flood situation of 2009 in Karnataka- “A Ray of Hope, New Life.”
