New Delhi: India would not be wrong, if it says “betrayal, thy name is Pakistan”. Since its inception in 1947, Pakistan has been the most untrustworthy nation on the earth. It has repeatedly betrayed India in the last 70 years. Pakistani government says one and its military does something else. In the recent past, after the then Prime Minister AB Vajpayee’s famous bus ride to Lahore, the Kargil war happened. After that dozens of terror attacks have taken place in India. All sponsored by the Pakistani military.
The same is happening once again. Exactly a week after the Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s surprise visit to Lahore, Pakistan sponsored terrorists attacked Indian Air Force Station at Pathankot. Its treachery won’t stop there. After claiming that Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) chief Maulana Masood Azhar detained by the police, Pakistan can’t even confirm the same. At the same time no end to terror despite Pakistan’s promise of not allowing the terrorists to use its soil to foment terror against India.
The masterminds of 26/11 Mumbai attacks, Hafiz Sayeed and Zakiur Rehman Lakhvi are roaming scot-free even today. Their detention and trial were a sham just to fool the international community. The trial of the 26/11 is floundering even after eight years. Pakistani military, its external intelligence agency ISI, its army generals and politicians are inseparable bedfellows.
Pakistan has been following the same policy towards its another neighbour Afghanistan. Almost the entire Afghan government blames Pakistan for the unabated terrorism in the war torn country. Pakistan is also sponsoring the elements opposed to Iranian government.
Over decades, Pakistan has mastered the art of playing victim at international platforms and the Western countries are turning a blind eye.
