The final report in the gang-rape case was rejected on Monday by the court, as the 14-year-old victim opposed it, saying that the police have not recorded her statement, they said.
The girl was allegedly gang-raped by five persons after being confined in her house at Katka village in the district on June 5. Police registered a case against the accused on June 11 on the directions of Superintendent of Police and filed the final report on June 16, 2013
